Hyundai Venue: Morsel of Information
Hyundai Venue: Morsel of Information
The sub-compact SUV first made a foray into the
sub-four-metre SUV segment in 2019. And, after three years, in 2022, the
vehicle made another comeback in the facelifted guise. The revamped appearance
of the car perfectly suits the theme of the new-age Hyundai cars' designs.
The pre-facelifted version was already one of the best SUVs in India.
However, the new iteration of 2022 has already hit the roads, and there are
high chances that it might attract your attention. Besides that, it is also
worth mentioning that there is a price hike of at least Rs 42000 compared to
the previous model's base variant.
But the price hike won't make you feel any inadequacy, so
if you plan to buy this car, below is the information about the vehicle that
might come in handy.
Let's begin!
Hyundai Venue: Price
As mentioned earlier, customers will have to pay a premium
for the Venue facelift over the outgoing model. If you plan to buy the base
variant, the E 1.2 Petrol, the Venue's
on-road price would be Rs 8.51 lakh. And it goes up to Rs 14.89 lakh
for the top model, the Hyundai Venue SX (O) 1.5 CRDi Dual Tone.
It is also worth mentioning that these prices are subject
to change due to demand, supply, and other factors.
Hyundai Venue: Features
Hyundai is known for giving a long list of features. That
is also applicable to the base variants of their offerings. In short, their
base variants, at least in Hyundai new-age vehicles, shouldn't make you feel
any inadequacy.
However, the top model of the Hyundai
Venue features a digital instrument cluster that shows relevant
information about the car. Along with that, the Venue also gets cruise control
buttons mounted on the steering wheel.
Apart from that, the car also boasts an 8-inch touchscreen
entertainment unit. And from there, you can also access the settings of the
vehicle. In addition, the infotainment unit is also compatible with Android
Auto and Apple CarPlay. Speaking of the infotainment unit, it also becomes the

parking sensors.
Below the infotainment unit, you'll get rotary dials for
HVAC controls, while the lowest section will contain a wireless charger.
Moreover, it also has a single-pane electrically adjustable sunroof. Apart from

the vehicle's status, such as fuel level, service dues, tyre pressure monitor
system (TPMS), and live location, to name a few.
Speaking of safety, the Hyundai Venue also provides extra
safety features like an emergency brake light flashing, six airbags, ABS with
EBD, brake assist, ESP, hill-hold control, and traction control, to name a few.
And the braking is taken care of by front disc brakes and rear drum
brakes.
Hyundai Venue: Powertrain
As for the Hyundai Venue specifications, it has three
engine options. The first one is the 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol
engine that delivers 81bhp and 114Nm of torque.
Another is the 1.0-litre turbo-petrol unit that pumps out
118bhp and 172Nm of torque.
And the last one is the 1.5-litre diesel engine, capable of
producing 98bhp and 240Nm of torque.
In addition, these powertrains are the same as before, so
customers can expect the Hyundai Venue
mileage to be more or less the same.
As far as the transmissions are concerned, the first unit
is exclusive to a 5-speed manual transmission. The second unit has two options:
a 6-speed iMT and a 7-speed DCT.
The DCT version is the only transmission in which you can
